The prosecuting attorney has a history of repeatedly offering plea bargains in cases of child sexual abuse, as well as other criminal cases, often resulting in sentences that see defendants who otherwise face decades in prison walk away with only a few years or even months of incarceration.

Accountability
Accountability is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy. We believe that as an elected official, Moeggenberg must be answerable to the people she serves, ensuring that decisions are consistent with the prosecuting attorney’s oath of office and are in the best interest of the Grand Traverse community. Moeggenberg has, time and again, exercised an egregious dereliction of duties.

Community Voice
This movement is a collective effort to empower residents of Grand Traverse County to ensure the lead law enforcement officer of our community truly has our best interests at heart. Unfortunately, in numerous instances, Moeggenberg has entered into plea deals without consulting the victims or families she is sworn to protect, stripping them of their voice in the pursuit of justice.
